From everything I was told on yesterday - you wont walk out with one today, though you 'might' have a chance of getting a phonecall on fri to say that it is ready for you if they get enough stock in

Im thinking of doing this as well, but not cancelling my MPD order and accepting whatever order comes first...

I did that yesterday, they said they will have it in stock friday or monday and he said if i make the contract probably i will get it at the same time with MPD orders, sorry mate

hi every one I'm in nokia shop market street manchester just ask the guy if Thay got any n900 in stock he said no we didn't receive any yet but hopefully getting delivery friday then I can pick one up.

Hmm...Whilst Friday was obviously mentioned before... I think I'm inclined to believe the more conservative estimate of "2 weeks" now. I think I trust the webshop more than actual instore places as at least the webshop is dealing with our orders... but grr.... ray of hope perhaps?!

ah cheers for the info original. So they reckon if i popped in there friday i still couldnt get one? lol still might be worth a try anyways i reckon.. finish at 3 on friday.l. so even easier
