Hi,
I got problem that can't install the files downloaded from the below link:

http://maemo.org/packages/repository...ng_free_armel/

where i get a message "Select an application from the list to open the file"

Did anyone experiance this problem. even i select different location to download in the files but the application manager, which usually lunch automatically if i just doubel click on the file for the first time to install, didn't open to do its job.

That is not supported way to install applications.

Download apps from here: http://maemo.org/downloads

Can i download applications from download section now and after sending them to n900 install them without using internet connection

Yes, but it is not recommended and installation may be difficult.

You can, but you'll probably run into dependency issues - the app requires certain libraries installed, so you then have to download those, and they require other libraries, and so on. Using the App Manager, all of that is taken care of in the background.
