Simple question really, does your google calendar sync with your n900 calendar?

What I want to happen is that I can update events on google calendar when online from any computer, and then with my calendar widget these entries show up in the native n900 calendar.

Am I explaining myself clearly? not much sleep!

I'd also like to know the answer to this
Basically I'd like to know what people are using for calendar which will sync with the computer? Ovi calendar seems okay...Works on my n95 like a charm. IS there any way to sync outlook??

google calendar does work (not 100% i do have some issues)
But i can sync i see things appearing in google calendar that i add through the N900.

But it didnt some sync everything. and 1 time i did also add something through the nn900 and after a sync it was gone from both ends. But maybe this is because i had an alarm set or some other incompatible entry setting. Still a bit investigating this.

So let me get this straight....The n900 syncs with ....

    MS Exchange 2003 - NO
    Google - NO
    OVI - NO

    MS Exchange 2007 - YES

This was a huge error in my opinion. Most organizations are still running 2003 and a lot of users are using Google for email, calendar and contacts. How can you NOT integrate with the most popular systems???

someone is sleeping at the wheel.. that is my only logical explanation.. wonderful device with lack of solid email/sync implementation..

It's too bad this is essentially a deal breaker for me. I'd love to buy it but there's no way I can deal with lackluster exchange support.

    I second this.

Syncing with MS exchange 2003, Google services and OVI is very much key things. (I didn't even have a clue that syncing with OVI does not work yet... that's almost embarrassing)

Anyway one of the biggest on for the masses is of course Google services and I do not accept "Goolge is a competitor because of Android" as an excuse!!!

I know that this isn't excactly the best way to get the calendar updated, but:

Open your google calendar in your browser, go to settings, click the calendar you want updated.
Scroll down to the Private webaddress, click the iCal button, click the link in the popup - choose "Open".
Now you can choose a calendar in your N900 calendar to open them in (or make a new).

Update the N900 firmware to PR 1.1.1 to solve this problem. Google MfE also reported to work in some cases.
