something strange about my friends order he ordered on 16 october ( 1 day after my already shipped order ) and got the shipping soon and charged in the same day as me but he is still shipping soon while mine is delivered ? so how is that ? why ?

If it eases you any bit, here what i just sent to amazon

"Hey,
This is regarding my order number 102-2925228-XXXXXXX. The item in question is a nokia N900 smart phone. It HAS already been released (don't believe me? go to:http://store.nokia.com/webapp/wcs/st...01_-1_10000367 ) and your website still reflects "item not yet released" also, there've been confirmed reports of the product being shipped to people who ordered from you. A LOT, and i mean a WHOLE LOT of people are turning away from amazon because of your mis-informing your customers and so do i will too. please let me know if AMAZON really has the capacity to ship my order or should i think of myself as another of those loyal customers that amazon never cared about to kick in the.. and try a different seller. And dear customer care representative, kindly look at the facts before you reply, don be like :
"I've checked with concerned department and found that we've not yet received enough stock to ship the orders for the item "Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone."

As we don't know when we get this stock from the manufacturer, currently the availability of "Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone," is listed as hasn't been released yet. We'll make sure to update our website listing when we know more.... BLAH BLAH BLAH"

cuz we've had enuf of it.I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING TO SHIP OR NOT!!! IF YES, GIMME A DATE, SHOULD NOT BE THAT BIG A DEAL FOR A COMPANY COMMITTED TO "We're Building Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company"

It arrived! Hurrah. I was holding my breath. Every minute that passed I was thinking... is UPS still going to deliver because it was already past 7:00 PM (which is when they say they usually stop delivering). But I heard a faint doorbell ring.

I have to say this thing feels really solid compared to the N97 when I had it and definitely more of the wow experience I was hoping the N97 would have been. I really appreciate the backcover and lens cover design this time. My N97 fell wind to the camera lens scratch.

All right, photoshoot time.

Shipped!

Ordered 10/17, status changed yesterday and now it's shipped. Estimated delivery date is 12/04.

Maybe you picked a different shipping method? Standard vs. Super Saving, or so..?

Does you have a dead pixel in the center? Change the wallpaper to something darker to find out. Im still waiting for my N900 from Amazon too. Don't know when they are going to get through to November order.

congratulations....

i ordered the N900 from Dell.com. and had the same problem....
those guys told me that i had to wait till Jan 15th 2010 to receive that order... damn..... >_<

And 4 hours later: status is now shipped.

UPS estimates delivery of tomorrow
Amazon estimates day after tomorrow (though I'm pretty sure all amazon does is take the shipping time you ordered and add it to the ship date )

test the mic? test charging? and wifi. Those are the very common fault for N900. Oh the X, C key, do you see any light leakage ? I learn from this forum alot about N900
