    beats me. i thought it was a little strange that they didnt show anything about it on their order page so I chatted with a rep - he directed me to phone support. I spoke to two different agents and both said they dont offer the mail in rebate unless you order from amazon or whoever.

    edit: can someone confirm this? maybe im missing something.

    Amazon is now selling n900 for $769.95. Its in stock.
    Nokia.com has none in stock but is $569
    Newegg is still pre-order and is $549
    Dell.com is still pre-order and is $549

    I think nokia is playing a big mind game with its customers. They are trying to suck the most money out of the early adapters as possible.

    I bought the N900 from the NYC Nokia store while the 569 weekplan deal was on.
    With taxes and all it come to $619 for me - of ourse I can subtract the $50 CC rebate on it .

    That's not directly from Amazon, it's from Worldwide Distributors, which is why the price is significantly higher. Amazon's current price is $549.99.

    re: Bing cashback - It can sometimes be a scam, some resellers mark up prices if they see that you were referred by bing. (Source: http://www.informationweek.com/news/...leID=221900811)
