I have just spoken with T-Mobile UK directly from my phone on 150, and they have informed me that the latest list of phones to be released and available from them on in the new year has been published today.

The Nokia N900 is on it!!! The gentleman in the upgrades department told me to call back on the 10th of Jan 2010 and I can have a free early upgrade!

I'll wait a few weeks then I think.

    Nice!

I just called them and was told that it's not on their lists just yet. She said she checked around and nobody was sure of pricing or the exact date.
Now to decide whether to buy it from Nokia directly now or to wait til T-Mobile get it. I'll have to pay a little bit to get it from T-Mobile as I'm on their staff plan from when I used to work in the mobile phone biz, but I'm not sure how much I'll have to pay for it.

Well he assured me it was true and read from a list he was given only hours earlier. It would have to be a member of the upgrade team though as the usual scallywags wont know about it yet. So if you can wait till beginning if Jan then its got to be winner with their coverage and great Flext tarrifs.

Don't get me wrong but if you have to phone him on the 10th Jan 09 you're pretty much fu**ed, just my opinion.

Just keep in mind, if you get it from T-Mobile it will have their logo plastered all over it has usual, and it will also be locked to them.

If it comes locked, just reflash it and go.

If you wanna take that chance, thats cool. Would not want my £499 phone acting all glitchy after I "flash" it, than have T-Mobile & Nokia laugh in my face when I need a replacement. I have seen it before. Flashing does not always go so well. My N900 is tattoo & splash free, and unlocked. Just mint.
