got it delivered @ 0800 this morning but haven't bothered messing about with it too much (up all night with newborn daughter lol). ordered 24/10/09. status only changed AFTER i signed for the delivery. so far so good, looks like a hell of a device!
Just got a call from MPD and the guy said he just call to conform is that ok Thay take £45 payment from my card. if yes then Thay will ship monday I will get it tuesday.
Oh and I ask for delivery charges he said delivery is free for every one for complement.
I order on 20th oct on t-mobile 12/mon £40/mon plus 44.98 for phone.
Why so much bad language and hatred to MPD. They could have posted all oredrs up to end NOv on one day, doesn;t mean Royal Mail wonlt delay you.....
In teh end its only a sodding Internet Tablet......... its not like its a new heart/lungs/etc
It is to those of us who sold out old phones the beginning of October and are struggling with dumb phones in the meantime.
Yes it was our choice to sell based on Nokia misinformation rather than MPD. But it doesn't alter the fact, people who ordered a month after me received theirs yesterday, yet I don't have mine yet. You cannot possibly consider that reasonable as that is the whole point of pre-ordering, because they are meant (and promised) to ship in the order they were received.
Oh and yes it DOES mean Royal Mail will not delay, this is Special Delivery GUARANTEED next working day not standard Royal Mail service. Its the fact they posted mine yesterday meant it was pot luck if it arrived today or not, because Saturday is pot luck deliveries whereas week days are guaranteed.
not sure if i have dodgy one mine keeps shutting down? any ideas? how long for new sim to work?
