Is it possible to restore settings from an N97 Backup?

I'm trying to copy the same Edge connection settings from my N97 onto my N900, can this be done and how please?


It seems there is no option to restore -via micro SD- from other phone's backups but card can be browsed and settings are actually visible..

Also, it seems there is no option for speed dialing, correct?

Any input would be appreciated.

I don't believe those settings can be transferred between handsets, I think you'd need to make the changes manually. The dialer app is a bit dumb, in that respect. Speed contacts can be added to the desktop as icons, however.. which is almost as fast

no not possibe....i tried it. Just use the 'switch device' method, thats how i got my contacts, calendar etc on the n900

I'd be very surprised - completely different codebase, hence it's as likely as a backup from iPhone or Windows Mobile.
