Hi

wondering if someone can help me, I have a me.com mail account (from my iphone days) and im having trouble setting it up on the n900, has anyone had any joy setting it up, if so can you give me some instructions.

I used the .Mac settings. Should probably work for you.

i receive mails but cant send with mac.com settings (i checked and they are ok...)

I use TLS on port 25. Can't recall if that was the default or if i tweaked it. Hope that helps.

.mac settings gave me the outgoing issue. i just used the me.com outgoing server. smtp.me.com

Ok, I finally figured out how to get smtp.me.com working on n900.

Secure authentication: Login
Username:*******
Password:*******
Secure connection Normal (TLS)
Port: 587

The main thing we were messing up was the port setting. I checked me.com configuration settings for outlook express and realized they specified to use port 587
