    N900 - Nokia Messaging - Sending Failure Error 500

I have Nokia Messaging installed on my N900 and have two email accounts registered within it:
    1) a tiscali.co.uk &
    2) hotmail.com

The problem is that when i try & send email via the tiscali account the sending fails everytime - I get an incoming email error reporting, what I think is a general error code 500.

I can receive email via the tiscali account & also via the hotmail account.

What's more I CAN SEND email via the hotmail account - so what is the problem with my tiscali account ??

The email accounts have been registered for somewhile on Nokia Messaging as they used to work perfectly on my previous phones, a N97 () & a E71 ().

I set up Nokia messaging on the N900 via the installed email app, which then in turn brought in the two accounts.

Please can anyone advise as to what the problem is with the error 500 message & sending via only the tiscali account, which is my main account?

Just found the WORKING SOLUTION at http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/...5344&jump=true

    posted by Bigdog13 which reads:

I had this exact problem a while back. To resolve the issue, log into your Nokia Messaging account on http://email.nokia.com --> click "Edit settings" next to the affected email account(s) --> click "Change server settings" --> remove/delete the outgoing email server and outgoing server port --> click "Save" and that should fix the problem.

    This worked for me
