    Hello everyone!

I have a weird problem with the time of SMS..

When I send a SMS on the n900 i see the time and it is the correct time..
However when I receive a SMS from any of my friends, it shows an incorrect time.. somehow it shows the time 5 hours earlier..

I tried fixing this but I am not sure how to do so...
It seems its like a time zone problem yet we're all in the same time zone.. When i use google talk or skype IM, the time is ok... its just with the SMS..

My girlfriend and I got the same phone and we both have the same problem!
    Someone plz help!

(If i click on the message it shows the wrong time and then the correct time one next to eachother... ie 1:32 | 6:32.)

    Thanks for your help

I'm also seeing this problem. The timestamps of SMS messages that are sent to me, read 5 hours behind the actual time in my timezone. So, a message sent to me at 8:27pm shows 3:27pm in the timestamp. But the timestamp of messages that I send out are recorded correctly.

I'm using my phone on Rogers and my timezone is GMT -7. I didn't run into this problem with my prior phone (Nokia E71).

Is anyone else having this issue?

Looks like there is an existing bug report:

Only 5 hours? Windows mobile shows a date 6 *years* ahead.
