They said mine will be shipped tomorrow. But this is the first time that they did not asked me to cancel my order lol. But let hope it will be shipped real soon. And hope there is no defects.
Mine arrived this afternoon. It has only spend several minuets out of my hand.
Mic working fine.
No dead pixels.
Speakers working fine.
One big surprise that I must not have read. When hooked up via wifi, when you go to the media player you are able to use/view any media from a computer in your network.

Same here.... Refreshing expansys page at least 8 times a day for the last 2 weeks... and i'm still 5 days from shipping
Man ...... the wait till tomorrow is becoming sooooo unbearable now ... I hope my N900 works OK and everything .. And I hope everyone else gets their N900's soon too ... I wonder if I'll even by able to go to sleep tonight ..
They do not fulfilling 1 day shipping speed first man. I've seen people with Freeshipping getting their device, people who's with 2 day shipping and 3-5 day standard getting theirs also. So conclusion is they are doing a first come first serve and randomisation.
No Idea when mine will be charged though. My brother credit card still has nothing from Amazon and the order still saying "NOT YET SHIPPED: estimate delivery: 9th December"
was previously 8th December.. They pushing me 1 day back... wtf.
I called today and asked why my order which was placed 11/20 with free shipping was not scheduled to ship until the 11th. Two very polite and helpful customer service agents told me the same thing: The faster the shipping method you choose, the higher priority Amazon gives your order. They didn't give any details on how order date combines with shipping method. When I asked if I could get my order shipped sooner if I paid for shipping, I was told sure, if you want to pay the extra cost. So I agreed to pay the extra $11 for two day shipping and soon after, I got an email with a tracking number saying my N900 would arrive on the 9th. I don't really have a problem with this policy, but they should make the exact priority formula public for these pre-order situations!
I am now confused with the Amazon Customer service responses.
I have an est delivery date of Dec 8th. However there is no update on my order status.
So I emailed Amazon today Morning, and the reply I got was
"I can confirm that we still expect to ship your order by December 7, 2009. It should be delivered to you by December 8, 2009"
Since there was no update on my order even at 10:15PM (PST) I emailed them again and got a quick reply saying
"I can confirm that we still expect to ship your order ontime. It should be delivered to you by December 8"
Customer rep says it will be delivered, however no update on my order status and my CC is also not charged.
