Had mine this morning as well so I would say that that is a good sign they are starting to filter through. I reckon most MPD pre-orders will get them before the end of this week.

Holy CRAP!!! My status just changed to "Ready For Despatch"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Special Delivery is GUARANTEED next working day. if Royal Mail fail meet that guaranteed they have to refund the postage. As such, it has top priority as they would lose a LOT of money if they allowed it to backlog.
For example during the strikes they had managers delivering Special Delivery and only very briefly suspended the next working day guarantee.
No, the backlog is clearly MPD being seriously disorganised and breaking their "first ordered, first shipped" promise.
