Yes, mine does the same and it doesn't bother me a bit. Who uses it half-open anyway ;-) And I only noticed it after reading your post
Also my N810 is a bit wobbly like that but is still in perfectly good shape after a couple of years of usage. So don't worry about that :-)

yeah I noticed this before. A little annoying but ill live with it.
has anyone experienced this?
can anyone mind trying this?
just slide it half way and try pushing upwards just from the left; it slightly slides only the left side and try the right side it only slides slightly right and lock itself.
