Yes, but technically I 'purchased' the phone on Dec 4, when my card was charged, and from when my warranty period starts .. legally speaking, thats when I actually purchased the phone. So its gonna mean something, right ?

does it matter when you purchased the phone ? One the rebate form, I don't see a requirement of sending the receipt.
