    no signal on vodafone

    had the n900 for two days now all was ok untill today, i cant get a signal on the phone. the sim works ok in other phone. Now i dont know if ive managed to turn something off but it just seems to have gone. works ok apart from that . any suggestions . thanks

    How old is your sim, some people needed to change their sim to latest.

    It is a new sim . has been working in the 900 already. Hoping it is just a setting that i have pressed by mistake . Ive searched the forum but not seen similar issues

    Ah, quite right. A few more thoughts:

    Is the wifi working?
    Are you getting no signal at all, or just no internet connection?
    Have you tried turning it off and on again?
    Any chance you can try another SIM in the N900?

    Wifi is working .
    There is no signal at all
    Have a differant sim in at the moment . same
    have turned it on and off

    Make sure that you haven't activated offline mode.

    Just on and offed it.it doesnt give an option for offline mode when restarting i cant remember if this was the case before or am i thinking of my other nokia which does
