Just got a 2nd n900 from Dell & before checking it out for any of the other defects mentioned here I noticed this right away when trying out the camera. Don't see anything externally so it looks like maybe something inside the lens. Has this been an issue that has already been brought up? I was hoping to keep this one since the order date falls within the rebate period.

1st image is the pic from the cam & 2nd is a pic of the n900 screen.

Ooo interesting, does almost look fingerprint"esque" - but would be alot larger if it was a fingerprint on the lens....

good question, not seen this one before tho

Looks liks a dust speck on the sensor.

So another thing to look for. Luckily my 1st n900 seems fine with mic, cam, only 1 reboot, decent battery life.

I got the mirror app and had not looked at the lense on the front of the phone before. but when I saw this its all fuzzy and half the screen is darker than the rest. Is this normal or a fault? Its like a old tv with a bad reception if you know what I meen.
