    Today I was at the meeting and suddenly the phone rang (I forgot the turn it off/silent).I tapped the reject button very fast because the phone was so loud and didn't know if the volume buttons mutes (well still don't know how to make the phone silent when you receive phone). Anyway the time I tapped the button, the media widget started to play online radio Can't remember how fast I turn the phone off completely.

    There's a button on the screen that turns the ring off (it looks like a speaker with a "/" on it if I recall correctly)

    edit: it took about 30 mins for the light to become green again :s...
    I have the same problem. Took the phone this morning from wall charger (the light was green on phone). Turned it on and it showed 93% charge level. So if it can not charge it fully then I will last less time also.

    Next time just put the phone on the desk face (screen) down. That will automatically silent the incomming call. Works quite well in my experience.

    if you want to know the exact battery state, use:
    Code:
    #  lshal | grep  battery.reporting
      battery.reporting.current = 1016  (0x3f8)  (int)
      battery.reporting.design = 1265  (0x4f1)  (int)
      battery.reporting.last_full = 1222  (0x4c6)  (int)
      battery.reporting.unit = 'mAh'  (string)
    HTH

    I am still waiting for my N900 from Dell, so I can't try this myself.

    How bad is the load from enabling Bluetooth?

    Or just use "lshal|grep bat" if you want a bit more info. See my guide about battery information for more:
