    Hi thar,

I really like DrNokSnes (SuperMarioWorld FTW!)

But why isnt the full screen modus really fullscreen, it isnt widescreen and it doesnt fill up the whole screen, from top to bottem.. Is there some kind of trick/fix for this? I'd love to play the games fullscreen instead of a 1inch space.

    thx!

Hi Scoop - DrNokSnes has been removed from the apps/extras area due to the current Nintendo issue - so i'm sorry - not many people can probably help with that

The app is not optimized for the N900's hardware, nor are there scaling options. More reason it would be nice to see the Android apps ported by the dev.

The wildest thing is there appears to be no option for mapping diagonal control and no practical way to use to keys at same time for the function.

Did the SNES support widescreen displays?

Many years ago I always played my SNES on a widescreen tv, maybe the image was stretched a bit, but I dont care

Is someone developing a better version of DrNokSnes?

SNES is 4:3 for almost all games. The emulator on the N900 has not been adjusted to correctly scale to the top and bottom of the screen.

There should be black bars on the left and right, but none on the top or bottom. Other emulators do allow "fill screen". For a wide display, I do not like using this option and prefer fit to screen with aspect ratio.
