No, we ordered on different dates. I ordered on the 20th, you ordered on the 23rd. I live in MD (according to him it's about a 9 hour drive from KY to MD) but that's because of the route you have to take (you can't go straight or you'll run into a mountain with no road).
I've had my N900 since Tuesday, shipped out Monday (at 10 PM) and arrived Tuesday around 3 PM.
But anyway like I said, it took them a while to actually ship my order even after charging my card (not till 10 PM at night! of Monday!)
so last night they send me an email asking me to approve to move my estimate delivery date from 12/14 to 12/17. was unhappy with it but approved it. so i went to bed disappointed but this morning i got an email saying that they have just shipped my phone out to me!!!!!!! got a tracking number and it left KY this morning around 11:31am. estimate delivery date is the 14th! can't wait for it to be in my hand! =]
Per a previous post, I had the same thing happen to me with the delay approval...and just got back from the beach to find a confirmation email with tracking number!
Now I can finally stop reading this thread and get on with my (N900)life. I'd also like to point out that not once during the process did i whine and complain to Amazon, and still got the same treatment *ahem* louder complainers received. Let this be a lesson, the CSRs in Mumbai can't really help you.
oh well if they can't help me t hen Just somehow find out the information then help me. Mumbai .... too far lol. INDIAN is kewl But they don't help much with the shipping.
So far so good. My order is on its way, so i can stop worrying. Now How do i do the rebate?
btw 1 question since after i received my N900 i didnt follow up this thread had anyone receive a defected device from amazon ? i mean these mic problems or reboots etc.. ?

I think a few, mic problem can be fixed by reflash or reinstal firmware. That seemed to work on lots of people. Reboot problem may be a little i think, not sure who but a few had it as well.
I certainly wish that mine is not one of those. I want to keep my baby in my pocket when it get to NZ. I dont want to send it back
