Go check. My order now shows delivery date as 12 Jan 2010 (originally 16 Dec).
    This is bad.

i think N900 ordering has been a total mess up, and more and more I started to worry that the device is as messed up as the company. I am getting from aboard that means I am not covered by warranty.

Just got off the phone with Dell. They said the item should be shipped before 12/18, and that what is posted on my account is not correct.

If you look at the polls on here, looks like a 5-10% chance of getting a bad unit (mic, reboots). With no warranty and being overseas, you'd be crazy not to wait for Nokia to fix it first

I finally received the email replied from the Customer Service after a whole lot of ordeal.

It costs me a lot of money and a lot of time to cancel it. I am facing same issues with Dell services in Singapore, they charges me 50 bucks just to refund the item within 7 days and their technical support is not even 24/7

I am going back to Amazon, I never had any problem with them yet.

    Below is my reply,

    "Good Day,

It has been really unfortunate that the response from the customer care was so unnecessarily delayed. I spent more than 30 minutes on international calls, incurring tens of dollars on the phone bills, and I was still not able to get any personnel to attend to me.

As a consolation, I got your email and lost 20 bucks over an order that would have cost nothing to cancel.

Please proceed to cancel my order as soon as possible,

I will share my experience with my friends online,

    Thanks a lot"

If I were you, I would push for more discount, if you cannot trust a company sales, you cannot trust the company post-sales services (such as refund n etc)

    Go for Amazon
