(C'mon, if this is a legit sale, the person would be aware of the various maemo talk sites and post here...)

I don't have money to blow on a real or fake N900 so I'm not going to sniff that particular bait - if someone else is more adventurous, they can follow up on that.
Well, I saw on the internet that THERE ARE N900 replicas. Someone sold one for 800 USD on ebay, and it was written in small letters at the end of the auction ''yes, this is a chinese model for people who can't afford the 900$ N900''.

It is the EXACT same thing, just a way to get more money from you if you get the Unlocked Import

Oh, outstanding. I was so infuriated that Globalive was blocked by the CRTC (though unsurprised). Hopefully they can restore some competition to at least our market...

I'm still very afraid that the new competition for us is coming from Vidéotron...

Does anyone really sees them offering plans like WIND ?
I hope wind grows and gets to buy some spectrum here...

yeah, I ordered mine off newegg.ca - delivery took a little over a week, which was a little frustrating, but I'm pretty happy with the device. I'm on rogers, and the 2.5g performance isn't that bad - I haven't benchmarked it yet, but browsing wasn't too painful.
