I just got my N900, fiddled with it a bit before charging it. Got it at my office so I can't sync my contacts just yet.

Have a few questions though:

1. whats the best way to sync contacts? i usually sync it to my outlook 2003. will that work with N900?

2. how do i disable the small click sound every time i press on the screen?

Settings -> Personalization -> Profiles -> Touch screen sounds

Profiles also contains most of the other sound cues you might want to change.

Sync with outlook requires nokia-pc-suites.

You will be in for a little disappointed, once you have installed nokia-pc-suites which works well generally I am impressed. http://www.nokiausa.com/get-support-...kia-pc-suites#
You will discover the n900 does not support a description in the task field, and the n900 dose not support outlook catogories as well as the PIM also lacks a search function.

Another complaint is you cant initiated a sync from the n900 via blue-tooth - if blue tooth sync is enabled it locks on to your device and stays connected.
