I think i am missing some functionality's but maybe i need some one to point me where.
How can i acces my externel sd card through the file manager ?
It does not appear but in the file manager.
If i have a look in settings > ... > memmory
I am able to see the sd card it has 2gb.
second thing i am not able to find don't laugh!
How can i change the default ringtone to a mp3 ?
Hmm, you might have to format the card if it's not being recognized by the N900 (it should show up in the file manager as "memory card").
For changing the default ringtone, go to settings > profiles. Then scroll down. You'll see one for IM, email, SMS, ringtone, etc..click on the one you want to change and then hit browse and go to whatever ringtone you want.
Regarding ringtone:

Click that button, and select the tone you want (Again, scroll, even though it looks like it can't)
