It was a great and very productive weekend. It's great of Nokia to give us the chance to meet with professional UI/UX designers and work together with them on our pastime opensource projects.
I'm sure in the following weeks we are going to harvest a lot of fruits from this event in many applications.
It was also great that it was not just a coders only event. There were some regular users, too, and this event helped bring the developers nearer towards the users and their ideas.
I'm especially happy to see the great progress that the sheepdog game is making that was born on the bus back to the airport.
The location was great, too. Barcelona was easy to reach by plane, and the location was not far from the hotel in a calm suburb.
A technical rant: Please don't block port 22 at the WiFi for such events. SSH to a developer is probably as important as HTTP to an end user
I suggest by default that all standard communications, development-oriented and IT infrastructure ports be open. I had some trouble with VoIP in Amsterdam that may (or may not) have been port-related... but I agree with Thomas, open them up!
Just in case you were all wondering, the video crew that was wandering around during the Long Weekend have completed their videos! I like 'em, I hope you do too, they're currently online at http://www.youtube.com/user/nokiadevforum
