Nokia designers managed to pull this off again. They designed a kickstand that is not fully functional. While it is ok to hold the device to watch a movie or listen to some music, when you want to use the screen (either via finger or stylus) or the keyboard for that matter the device just tips over. Another useless feature that I won't be using on he N900.
I think it works fine. I loved and prefer the one on the N800, but this one works too. I fail to see how one could have a strong opinion about such a thing. The only thing that bugs me the slightest (and it is slight) is how it does not lie flat on a surface. [Edit: I mean when the kickstand is not out and the N900 is just on its back, so to speak.]
I like the kicked Stand. I think its not that bad. Though you cant use it while it is on the kicked stand. but it is handy when you want to leave it on the table and read messages or watch movies on it. But other than that I don't see any use of it.
Well if u press anything that is situated in the top right corner or even the right side of the slide out keyboard itll topple over. So you still have to hold it with one hand.
