That may well be the next step. I did get a fair price with Nokia - not as many discounts as some, but discounts all the same. I'm trying to get something tangible out of them to work out what I can do next - for example, I'm not sure how the refund will go having half the phone for repair and the rest of the components at home (back cover, battery, charger etc).
Ideally, I'd like to get the device back nicely repaired, but can't seem to find real information as to turnarounds - it may be that no one has this information as they haven't been through the process, but I thought I'd check.
Until the times Nokia repair gave, go out of the window, I suppose I'll have to wait and trust in what they said. Hopefully it is a case of the engineers having lots of work to do, so the dates are to cover themselves - rather than the engineer literally taking 7 days or more trying to locate my microphone!
Thanks - It's nice to hear I'm not alone anyway. Hopefully it will just be standard and they just don't like giving out much information. It shouldn't be too long and we'll get them back... touch wood... fingers crossed.. praying...
Flippin'eck - I don't believe it - that is ridiculous. I'm sorry to hear that. Strangely I've not heard anything about mine. Did they call you at all or did it just turn up one day?
