i have a simple question , as when im at my desk organiszing and installing apps , will it hurt my batter to leave it plugged in? and also if i leave it plugged in will that affect the memory of the battery if its not fully charged when i plug it in? not sure if this applies

No. The battery is a lithium-polymer battery. This type of battery is not effected by memory effect.

If you go to wikipedia and lookup li-ion
and go to the bottom of the page,
you will find external reference links about
li-ion batteries.



After reading them, you should not
- leave you battery in all the time when the charger is hooked up
- do not run it all the way down
- if you are going to not use the battery for awhile, charge it
all the way up, discharge it a little bit, then store it. A fully
charged stored battery 'ages' faster than a partially charged
battery.
- take the battery out of the n800 when you aren't using it -
even when it is 'off' it is really still on and will drain it to the
bottom level - which should be avoided to preserve the
capacity of the battery. Unfortunately, this loses the clock status.


li-ion batteries are very delicate things. I try to care and feed
mine very carefully.

i just checked , it IS a Li-poly battery

li-poly and li-ion batteries are for all practical purposes the same, as far as charging/usage issues are concerned.
