I just loaded supertux on my desktop.. the command to run it is "supertux2"... I have no idea if thats the same as the version for the N900... there really should be a menu item somewhere if it was from a maemo repository. If it was from a debian repository that would be a different story.

well, eye widget works....
i had downloaded wrong .deb

Make sure you run:

dpkg -r supertux

If you had grabbed the wrong one.

what does -r do? i'm currently uninstalling wormux cuz it doesnt work.
I already deleted that .deb file( the wrong .deb)

Oh you could probably do it in App Manager..

It just uninstalls it. You don't want to install two copies of supertux... no telling what problems could happen if they don't properly replace each other.

yeah, thx u for helping me. my first day with n900 , well , it's 5:30 in the morning, time to go to sleep. have had it for 7 hours. no restarts yet , hopefully it wont get random restarts


btw where to download bounce ? my n900 doesnt have it. + maybe master gear games?

I cannot stress strongly enough that unless you are very good with linux (and no offense, but from your questions I'm guessing you're not) you should always and only install software using the App Manager. Unless you look forward to reflashing and setting up everything again.

If you feel like gettin' experimental and want more packages, just add the Testing repo in the App Manager. If you're really feelin' frisky, enable Devel. But let the App Manager do the work unless you're totally unconcerned with the consequences.
