nope... are you sure nothing is stuck between the two parts? Maybe some sand or something?

Don't mean to hijack your thread, I plan on getting an n900 soon. Do the actual keys get scratched like the n810's did after extended use?

Thanks

I have the aforementioned lines as well.

They don't bug me. I don't see them unless I'm looking for them... besides, it shows people my device is actually being used, not babied and coddled.

If I look very hard I can see a really faint wear on one side of the back. But I don't really have a problem with it since I don't see it and it does change the way the device works. Plus you can just invest in a sharpie and that will fix it right up. Maybe post an image of how yours looks?

This may not be related, but my N900 (bought from retailer) slide acts funny... If I open the slide by pushing it from the right side (about arrow keys) it feels like there's sand in the rails. If I close it by pushing from the NOKIA text above the display, I get the same.

However, if I open the slide by pushing it near the indicator led, and close it by pushing near N900 text above the display, I get the expected, pleasing, smooth slide.

The device is about two months old, enduring semi-active daily use. I keep my pockets sand-free (one dedicated one to N900), I even vacuumed the pocket first... No visible scratches anywhere...

Could you N900 owners quickly test if you get the same behaviour? I really wouldn't like to get this thing broken and/or into warranty repair just yet...
