I broke my headphones last week and bought 2 new sets of headphones with mic only to figure out that they could not be used with the n900... This was my first big #Fail with nokia... what try to be different on this... it should all be standard. Does anyone know of a high quality headset with mic since the bose will not work on the n900
I have a pair of Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10vi (the one with microphone) and was very disappointed with the buzzing right out of the box. Fortunately, they came with an airplane adapter which converts to a plain stereo pin making them work as regular earphones. I would love to be able to use the microphone on these.
So I went to the apple store to buy new earphones.
Since I wanted one with a Mic, i tried both the Klipch S4i and Schorche i350md. and the moment i plugged them into my cellphone, there was a constant buzz.
I tried playing music, and even though it worked, I could constantly hear a pretty loud buzzing.
Eventhough it had a sticker Made for Iphone, it should still work right. I mean theres a 3.5mm input, but it should work.
