No idea what it might be, these startup operations should be instantaneous. Do these issues persist after rebooting the phone?

Hello Wolf,

I have tried to install both versions of DumbFTP on the latest firmware and on the one before, but it would just start loading and then suddenly close!
Is there anything specific that I need to do?
** I have Qt v4.6.2 Installed

Thanks

Hello,
A quick workaround that seems to work:
open a terminal window and write:
sudo /opt/dftpd/bin/dftpd
this should run the application and share the whole filesystem

Hi everyone. This looks like a great system for easly accessing the symbian file system, and I soooooo would like it to work! However, I'm having trouble connecting, and I dont understand this workaround posted by FoudAtmeh.

I'm running FileZilla under Windows 7, and everything works great (I get the welcome message, and login works - so I get: Connected) until I get the following error message

Error: Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

How exactly do I apply this solution?

Sorry for being kind of an FTP n00b. I really hope someone can help me on this probably trivial matter.

Regards from Norway
