yay, just ordered my own N900 from nokia.co.uk Now the waiting begins! I can't wait to begin being a part of this great community

BTW, for those who are still after a N900 and want to buy it in a shop: Ive sent an email to the Nokia Flagstore on Regent Street (London) asking them about their stock status - received their response yesterday:

London.flagship@nokia.com to me
show details 28 Dec
Hello,

We currently have this in stock.

Many thanks,

Susie
The retails price is 499 Pounds, and they have them in Stock!

Guys I want to tell you that before I ordered, I never heard of Quidco.com but want to praise them here. Quidco.com has the UK Nokia shop on their website and I purchased the n900 via Nokia through Quidco. Because of this, I received 10% cashback. My order came to £424.15 but the cashback I received is for £49.99 so it looks like when I received my cashback, they didn't consider the 15% discount code... which is great.

The £49.99 cashback is not in my bank account yet but the status changed from pending to validated today so it does look like I will receive the cashback. This means I purchased the n900 for £499.99 minus the 15% staff discount which is £424.15 minus the £49.99 cashback meaning the n900 cost me £374.16. All this with free postage... I cannot complain. I will also be selling my n810 so that's £120-£130 cashback there too.

Hehe Gohan that's great! I chose not to go through Quidco, because I hadnt heard enough about them and was fearing that something would go wrong with my order?

Anyway, congrats for getting this far! Please keep us updated on whats happening ye?

As I said, I never heard of Quidco up until the point of ordering. I did not think like you because what could possibly go wrong with the order? It will either go through or not, and if not, you just place another order (after logging in to your account and making sure your recent orders is blank). You would have saved £50 this way but yes I will keep you updated.

If you are not scared by being in a contract with a provider it seems that vodafone will have n900 for free on £35 per month(600min incl, free texts, free web). I've found this yesterday while visiting carphone warehouse where they did have a n900 mockup on display.

Hey fuutott,
I think you have to discuss N900&Contracts in the UK in this thread right here.

@Thread, Ordered mine from Nokia.co.uk yesterday, it shipped today Unfortunately I can't have it until the 5th of January!

My n900 came today (30th) however, I will not even turn it on until my screen protector turns up (between 1st-5th January). I cannot risk scratching this baby.

Yep, took 3 days for mine to arrive (but the day I ordered, it was at night so really just 2 days). Very quick!
