hi will i lose all the conversations on my 900 if i take out my sim card . is there away of saving the messages

I'm pretty sure you won't lose your conversations, since the database holding them is on the phone, not the SIM card. Yes, I know, some phones can save conversations to SIM cards, but I don't think the N900 can.

done that, you don't lose anything, not even call reports. you'll be prompted though for locale
