there is a pressure spot on my n900 LCD. This happened when it was in my leather holster, on my belt clip, getting out of the car. I have continuously searched for a replacement LCD. It's flickering on/off making the device very difficult to use. Anyone know where I can purchase it? I repair cell phones and laptops so I can capable of repairing it, I just need the part. Is it possible it's not released yet because it's a fairly new phone still? any info is appreciated!

I think it's still a little new for replacement parts. I checked a few of the Chinese sites and wasn't able to find anything either.

I would say it would be safer to just send your N900 in and have it repaired. I am the same way "do it yourself" however with very new items it's best to send it back until more 3rd party hardware is available.

warrenty is the best option as it may be cheaper to do it yourself but you void the warrenty unless your nokia certified. you may need that warenty (24 months in europe)

but if you really want to there is a website in finland that has n900 parts and other phone parts. i can't remember the url though. someone did post it a week or 2 back.

Do note there's a minimum requirement of $175 per order, plus parts are not cancellable nor refundable so you may be better off send your device back to Nokia for warranty
