You seem to be confusing memory and flash storage space. Have you tried rebooting the phone?

I'm guessing might have filled /home.
Space is as follows:
/ - 256mb
/home - 2gb - optified apps and all the sms and such stuff get's stored here iirc
/home/user/MyDocs - all the rest of the 32gb...

1)trying to install applications.. and i have 25GB free!!
2)got this message also when I had around 40 SMS messages and had to delete them to receive messages! and the free memory space i have is 25GB!
Why is this happening ? there is a bug in the firmware? Please help
