What would a game like that be without weapons... So, you start the game with the "Stick of the Noob" (you can swat the bugs away but not destroy them) and on the last level you get "The Debugger".

Maybe there could be hidden resources like the 'dpkg --purge' command which could get rid of nasty applications with unresolvable dependencies.. and 'apt-get clean' to get rid of the old cruft and leftovers from the apps you installed earlier, when it's all bogged down to slow molasses because your world is full of said cruft.
heh, maybe the game could be designed so that when you've mastered it you've unknowingly become an APT guru!
