After I upgraded omweather to version 0.17.1, the wifi connection icon (the little earth icon) won't flash when doing connection. And even when connected, it won't show "connected" status icon. So I couldn't tell the difference between offline and online!
I uninstalled omweather, installed version 0.16, now everything is fine.
So DON'T upgrade it if you care about knowing your wifi connection status.
