Hey guys

I am a complete newbie to this so please be easy on me.

I'm trying to connect to a site on my nokia n900 which i previously used telnet to do on my pc.

I've installed openssh but what do I need to do now?

Its a chat based programme i'm trying to use.

The address is surfers.org 4242

Any ideas if this can be done?

You can't use openssh for that - you need a telnet application. There's one in one of the repositories somewhere (I've got it installed anyway), though it's not showing in the application listing here.
