You should threaten us with liquid forms of water. UK has plenty of that. Leave the frozen H2O to experts .
Yeah but a snowball fight from the US evidently might get you shot

You know, that's exactly the sort of problem t.m.o. has... people get all bent out of shape by a snowball.

BWAHAHAHHA.... man, I'm suffering from flu recovery and job burnout today and that made me bust out laughing. Thanks Rauha. BTW I plan on visiting Helsinki within a few months.

I would say the stability factor is quite arguable too. Personally I've had N900 for bit over 1.5 months now and gotten one reboot that was my own fault (dev soft). It definitely has the best mobile browser out there currently and the flash support is actually usable. From my experience the base system seems surprisingly solid.

Installing all kinds of extra stuff that can integrate deeply into the OS functionality is both the strength of N900 and way to unstability if you are careless.

The AGPS seems to work really fast if it has network support but the Map software that comes with the phone isn't all that useful besides showing where you are. The current state of Microsoft Exchange integration etc. isn't all that great either so if you depend on that, you might want to consider waiting for updates or some other phone.

It is still a great device and I don't think I would be happy with any of the other "smartphones" at the moment

my n900 is packaged and being returned too nokia, they keypads broken on it, it has too much playin in which makes it slide side too side.

Also the top left hand side keys have broken and creek, shoddy workmanship getting a refund.

gonna have to wash my hands of this device, wait for a multi touch version with more apps, this time im gonna wait till the software has caught up with the phone lol, blah i really wanted to like this phone too.

I wasn't and I relied on UMPC Portal's coverage which used the phrase "will be". I apologize. (prior post corrected)

P.S. Back to the OP's question, I'd still wait to see version 1.1 (or whatever it's called) before I purchased anything.
