No songs found by media player - corrupted mmc?

I accidentally pulled the USB cable out when the internal MMC of the n900 was mounted. I saw the name of the device change to "BCM2048B0 Initialization Configuration" http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=36556

I ran fsck which I think did something. Now there is a file called " ._" filled with junk.

The media player reports it can't find any songs or videos. Additionally, I cannot play the mp3's from the file manager which I think you could do before. I know the mp3's are there and valid because I can use panucci to play them.

Anyone know how to fix this? I'm guessing there is a link missing or something similar.

I have this same problem. I also get the message "(no images)" in the Photos application. I can also play my media with Panucci and can open the photos from the file browser.

I also have received the message...
Retrieving information on the new media files.
    Estimated time remaining: 03:00
when I open the media player. Waiting the three minutes doesn't seem to change anything.

I don't think I pulled out the USB cable without ejecting it, nor do doing so should cause a problem like this.

I've reset the phone many times, taken out the battery, and connected and disconnected USB a couple times.

    Argh!

    Try resetting the tracker database.

Dunno what to say but yo guys cant try reinstalling your codecs and or checking if those files:
    /home/user/.cache/tracker/file-index.db
    /home/user/.cache/tracker/email-index.db

Actually exist, if they don't exist, then maybe someone can try to upload those files (file-index.db, and email-index.db) to try and remedy the problem.
