I had been testing Skype with my mother, as she just made herself an account. She can hear me fine, we can connect, but for some reason after about five seconds I can no longer hear anything on my end. Audio still goes through to the other caller. I've tried this on wifi and over the cellular radio, and I've tried restarting the device and investigating the settings. Any ideas or suggestions?

I've occassionally had audio dropouts in skype apparently caused by high cpu load during screen rotation in the phone app, so i disabled that feature.

I'm not sure if this is your problem though.

can you check if you still get audio from speakerphone or/and headphones?

Sorry, I have been away for a while and couldn't check the forum. My audio does not come through the speakers either. The earpiece/speaker are great for any other app/use, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
