I do agree in the fact that most of time, I use silent or general...

BUT, a such tablet/phone must be able to provide the capability of customizing the profile by creating several profile !
AS MUCH AS WE LIKE TO HAVE ONE RING PER CONTACT!

does setting the the profile to silent affect the IM status, i.e. set it to busy? if not, this should be implemented as well ...

Hi, I'm the guy who wrote Tweakr. It will be availble in extras-devel shortly and it can be used to have more profiles than just Silent and General.
