Hi all, Iwas just wondering, is there a way to save files like images or mp3s or even videos from the web to the Nokia N800 while we're surfing?

Thanks

That depends somewhat on what content you're trying to save, and what site you're saving from, but for images, just right-click (click-and-hold until the menu comes up) on the image, and choose "Save As". For mp3's, if it's a direct link from a web page, just click, and it you'll be prompted to save it or open it - open will open it in the media player. Same for videos, as long as they're files. Flash-based videos, which seem to be the default on many sites now, don't save easily, although there's a nice website to convert them to a streamable type that can then be saved.

If you have an xterm and wget or curl installed, and want to download something directly, you can right-click on a link and choose "Copy link location" and then paste that URL into the xterm.
