Threads on this site have pointed out that Maemo is more efficient than Android.
Still, whoever codes what, if you summarize my posts:

URLs please?
If you do not code it yourself, nobody will code it for you. That simple, yes.

. Then again, I paid $422 after rebate,. Perhaps my perspective would be different if I paid significantly more

Classic. This is the exact type of environment that will stunt the actual sales of the N900, since apps help to drive sales. Based on the posts here, the N900 is like a modern day ham radio model, since almost everything is being fostered and created by the community and not much direct commercial support.

Well, you get what you pay for. You download something for free, come here to complain about it, and expect unknown people to satisfy your complaints, for free. You are then told to go help yourself, to the best of your abilities (or lack thereof). Why does this surprise you?
Still waiting for those URLs.
PS: Do note that most people are reasonable, i.e. they will not complain about something they have got for free. Only a chosen few require reminding of the obvious. You should probably be proud to be one of the few.

Still, my point is that I and others would be more than happy to pay people to make apps we would like to use.
Then again, if people do not point out issues fro free apps (aka complaints), how do things improve?
As far as the links you request, there is no difference from you searching or me.

Interface and playability debates aside (subjective), would you allow someone to add custom key mapping to your apps that also includes diagonals?
Would this be a complex and time consuming addition to your current versions?
Would your 6502 package work for a PC Engine emulator for the N900?
As I mentioned before, why port Android apps over when you already have a more than solid foundation to make equal or better on the N900?
Would you be interested in taking some "constructive" points and perhaps modify your current apps
sell them in the future market for Maemo 5?

Still, whoever codes what, if you summarize my posts:
1. N900 should perform at least as good as Droid
2. Current emulators on N900 are not playable for many games due to no mapping for diagonals. Keyboard is not designed to allow two key presses to accommodate this through hardware (unlike G1). Start key is also too easy to press.
I do not see much if any conjecture there.
