I haven't tried it yet, but it seems GoGadget might be a decent (paid-for) effort..

    *Excuse the noob*

This isn't about the transfer of playlists because i don't have any but will just dragging and dropping my iTunes library into the appropriate folder on the N900 work ?

Create a folder named "iTunes Playlists" on your N900 and drop them there.
I think the playlists will show up on media player, but you also need to transfer the songs themselves(those included on the playlists) on a different folder.
If you don't you will be getting an error that media not found.

I'm using Nokia Multimedia Transfer (for the Mac). Even though the website indicates it doesn't support the N900, it does.

Simply install, choose your settings (auto-sync all, or only sync playlists you choose, etc), then sync away. It syncs album art as well as photos & videos (each configurable separately).

    'nuff said.

I am on mac os/itunes. I tried doubletwist, it looked good at first glance but would not transfer album art.

So I tried salling media sync. It worked much better - All album art copied over. Salling in forums states that they have figured out a workaround for the macs to get the album art to the phone. I think they are applying the album art to the file icon before copy.

I would suggest salling over doubletwist.

I also tried Nokia Multimedia Transfer as I said on previous posts, and I also think it's better than doubleTwist. So, give it a try.
