I just downloaded the VGBA emulator to my N900. But my question is, where do I find games? Can I download them somewhere? Please help me out with this.

That would be ILLEGAL if you don't own the games, therefore no help can be given here. However *wink*wink* Google is your friend. The games are called ROMs.
Seeing how the pokemon games are not working in the n900 either, it seems to be an emulation and not speed problem.
