    What would be perfect is adding things to the bar but having the bar ON only when it's not maximised! :-)

    Or is this what the following is doing? :-)

    EDIT: uhm actually, you can't minimise after maximising without the bar...

    type the following when in xterm to enable FULL fullscreen viewing!

    gconftool-2 -s /apps/osso/xterm/toolbar -t bool "false"

    Now, when u press the button to hide the top bar, the toolbar is also hidden, giving u a properly fullscreen terminal.

    Ctrl-backspace still brings up the Expose view for app-switching.

    I don't yet know a key combination to restore the top and bottom bars - so if anyone can help me out, that would be useful - doing it by script seems a bit extreme (although they come up by default on a new terminal, which seems sensible).

    Not really a Mod but you might find it helpfull. I changed the start up and shutdown splash screens for one that has my contact details on. I know it is very unlikely to be returned but there must be some honest people out there. This gives them the oportunity at least.

    The easiest way to get a darker purple is to use a more simple (in terms of not using increments/decrements) pattern like the below:

    Code:
    PatternCommunicationSMS=30;1;0;rB;9d8070007f007f0040337f007f000000;9d8070007f007f0040ff7f007f000000
    Note that this should all be on one line.

    That gives a fairly pleasant dark purple.
    Given time I can probably get one fading in and out, but I'll leave that until later.
    Uhm, the wiki says not to use the same led engine (does that mean there is 2 multi color leds?) at the same time, but then, how is their white made !?

    EDIT: here rB gives RED but rb gives PURPLE ... confused :-)

    You still need the headphones to listen to (non-internet) radio since the headphones act as an antenna, as qwerty12 pointed out.

    yes they do act as an antenna but you can have the audio for the regular radio sent out via the speakers...so the headphones function SOLELY as the antenna with the speakers activated.

    I've just noticed a typo in the pattern I listed. I've updated my first post, but will post the pattern here again for clarity.
    Code:
    PatternCommunicationSMS=30;1;0;rB;9d8040007f007f0040337f007f000000;9d8040007f007f0040ff7f007f000000
    Please note that that pattern is ONE line

    What the wiki means is that you shouldn't map the same colour to two engines, e.g. rR.

    I've updated the wiki to reflect this.
