Eesh, updating it (from Qole's repo) has caused some odd behavior. Desktop keeps flashing on and off and applications are gone. Time to remove.

Hmm well this is troubling.. how am I going remove it. Keeps booting to desktop, then flashes and then reboots.

Edit: I recommend caution before anyone installs this. Don't know if the issue is unique to my N900 but I'm pretty much in a reboot loop now.

its working fine for me as far as i can tell,
I have never had an older version installed its first time i've tried it, not sure if that makes a difference, maybe its the updating proccess that goes wrong is what i'm thinking.
you have got me scared about uninstalling it now though

Maybe it is the updating process. I am in the process of downloading the firmware now to reflash the device. I can't seem to uninstall mymenu (I can't get to the prompt quick enough with the constant desktop refreshing).

Well, got in to the machine with PuTTy and did a "sudo apt-get remove MyMenu" but I am still in a pickle. Not good. Anyone have any ideas?

    Edit:
"dpkg: status database area is locked by another process" when trying instead "dpkg -r mymenu "

Have not rebooted yet, don't feel it would be a good idea at this point. Hmm...

Don't reboot. That leads to my problem (the constant rebooting).

Unfortunately, it decided to do that for me. I checked (over ssh) with top the processes that were running - I thought I'd kill the manager but it just started rebooting. Crap!

And my system is now reflashed. Good thing I did a backup earlier today. Just have to re-do some custom tweaks (like change boot video again) and re-install some testing apps I installed after my backup.
