I'm just testing my development environment and noticed something a bit strange...

When I ran the GUI hello world example (located at http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...ment/Maemo_SDK ) on my scratchbox, everything acted as expected.

When I ran it on my N900 the following commands achieved identical results:

run-standalone.sh ./gtk_helloworld-1
./gtk_helloworld-1

Both appeared themed (unlike on the scratchbox where the latter was not themed).

Can anyone explain why this is?

It's not a problem at all but I really want to learn how Linux, and more particularly, my n900 function.
